Technical Assistance Program (TAP)
Originally implemented by the New York State Council on the Arts’ Special Arts Services Department (NYSCA-SAS), TAP supports organizational initiatives that strengthen the management and operational capacity of small and medium sized multicultural arts organizations located throughout New York State. HSA-TAP is designed to help strengthen organizational infrastructure, develop leadership skills, and affect long-term organizational sustainability in an increasingly competitive environment.
As in the past, this program is open to cultural organizations that are:
- Currently funded by the NYSCA-SAS Department
- Specifically comprised of and serve African/Caribbean, Latino/Hispanic, Asian/Pacific Islander, Native American/Indian communities, as well as others that preserve and build upon distinct ethnic and cultural traditions.
- Able to satisfy all other eligibility requirements.
