Curriculum
The College Prep Dance track is designed to give serious dance students the opportunity to study in an intensive and professional environment and to develop and maintain ballet, modern, and jazz dance techniques as well as other dance-related skills that are necessary to pursue a college education and professional career in dance.
College Prep Dance tuition: $1,275/28 weeks plus registration fee and other applicable fees.

All students in the College Prep Dance program are also eligible to become members of the performance ensemble, Renaissance II, which gives young talented aspirants interested in studying dance at a professional level the opportunity to study intensively, create and perform.
*Students must pay 50% of tuition for elective class.
Audition Information
Each student will audition in both Ballet and Modern Dance. The student will perform a 2–3 minute solo which they have prepared or a teacher has prepared for them.
What to Bring:
1.
Appropriate dance wear for both ballet and modern classes (girls who dance on pointe should bring their pointe shoes as well)
2. A 1-2 page essay by the student explaining why she/he wishes to pursue formal study in dance.

Audition Schedule:
Fall Auditions
Wednesday, October 3, 2007
4:00pm – 4:40pm
Students should arrive within this time period so that they will have an opportunity to complete applications, change and warm up for their class. Students who arrive late will not be allowed to audition.
5:00pm – 8:00pm
Ballet Class (Studio 105)
Modern Class (Studio 105)
Individual Performances (Studio 105)
Note: Interview with the student and parent will be arranged at a later date.
