Christopher Keogh

Chris is head of the Market Solutions Group for the Americas. He serves as a member of the Growth Markets Operating Committee.

Prior to assuming his current role in 2011, Chris was the co-president and representative director of Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) Japan and director of GSAM in South Korea. He was also the head of GSAM for North Asia and was responsible for the asset management business in mainland China. Previously, Chris was senior advisor to the chairman of Beijing Gao Hua Securities Company Limited, where he was responsible for the development of the firm’s securities businesses within mainland China. Before moving to Asia, he served as head of the European Global Institutional and European Merchandising teams in London. Chris joined Goldman Sachs in 1999 as an equity sales trader in Chicago. He was named managing director in 2004 and partner in 2010.

Prior to joining the firm, Chris worked at Merrill Lynch in Equity Derivatives for five years.
Chris earned a BA in General Studies from the University of Michigan in 1994 and an MBA in Finance and International Business from The University of Chicago in 1998.
